Summer jammmm.

So, maybe it’s been a while since I’ve posted. And by a while I mean, like, half a year - but I have semi-totally legit explanations for my oh-so dedicated (nonexistent) readers. I may or may not have left my MacBook Pro on the New Jersey transit and lost it. Yeah. It’s a REALLY long story, but, much like the fairy tales we’re shown that typically fail to reflect real life experiences (typically being the operative word), it has a very, very, VERY happy ending in which I get my baby back. Needless to say, without my precious angel I’ve been seriously lacking and slacking in the music department but it is time to get back. I know summer’s coming to a close, but now is still a better time than any to throw out some jams, so here’s my personal favorite for the moment. I have an inability to play this in my car without the windows down and the volume blasting - which is saying something, because I live in Houston. Anyways, I feel like a large part of that screams summer jam. While the Detroit-based duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. has no actual relation to the NASCAR racers, contrary to popular (or not-so popular) belief, they can still write a mean indie-pop song. If you like what you hear, I suggest buying their recently released album “It’s a Corporate World”. Super catchy, upbeat, and fun. Yep, sounds like summer to me too.

I think that this is something, that we must live life beautifully.
